Every great business starts with an epiphany.

We know that all economic growth starts with entrepreneurs. Sometimes people have great business ideas, but never refine them enough to develop a real business. We’re here to equip any start-up entrepreneur with the tools they need to hit the ground running.

Every great initiative starts with a problem.

We know that existing entrepreneurs all hit ruts sometimes. Sometimes they all hit ruts at the same time and everyone calls it a recession. We’re here to help business owners tweak their policies and tactics to strengthen their shops.

Every strong network starts with a handshake.

We know that no business exists in a vacuum. Sometimes it’s good to learn from others’ mistakes and to borrow from their brilliant ideas. We’re here to connect small business owners with each other, and with resources that will help them succeed. We bring commercial corridors together. We host networking events, a monthly Women Entrepreneurs’ Circle, and a large, city-wide campaign known as Entrepreneurship Week, to remind you that you’re not in it alone.

Every great entrepreneur starts as a student.

We know that many economic patterns are cyclical. Sometimes the best lessons are learned young. We’re here to educate creative teenagers to think innovatively and turn their hobbies into business opportunities.
